Foundational Resources for Employees New To The Egg Industry
Staff that are brand new to the egg industry will require basic biosecurity and food safety information, so that they can fulfil their legal food safety and animal welfare obligations.
To assist egg farms in this process, Australian Eggs have developed a set of resources which can be used to give new entrants to the egg industry the foundational biosecurity and food safety information they need.
The resources are based on industry best practice and the Biosecurity Technical Manual for Egg Production (September 2020). Each resource can be used in isolation or together, depending on the farms training needs and preferences.
