EggStart: egg industry inductions
The EggStart induction program is fully subsidised for Australian Eggs members and has been developed for egg farm employees new to the industry or those needing a refresher. It covers up to seven topics which can be undertaken separately or combined into a program suited to your needs. Topics cover biosecurity, welfare, WHS, QA, food safety and more, plus are reviewed annually to include the most up to date research and resources.
The EggStart program can be tailored to suit your farm/s needs and can be delivered on-farm, at an off-site location that suits your needs or in a hybrid approach of on-farm and online learning. Topics which can be undertaken separately or combined into a program suited to your needs.

Understanding and participating in WHS processes
Complying with personal hygiene to maintain food safety
What poultry health and welfare means
Following site biosecurity procedures
Quality assurance for the egg industry
